Ali Edwards has this guest post up on her blog, written by Shimelle Laine, a noted professional scrapbooker. I LOVE her take on scrapping the everyday and taking every day as something precious. It was just the perfect boost to my excitement with starting A Week in the Life.
I can’t remember where we first found it, but Mark and I once read that marriage can be defined by “being witness to each other’s life.” I realize this is what I do with scrapbooking. I bear witness to our lives and document what find. This project is exciting for me because of my overall goal of seeing more than what I usually see–hopefully. In which case, I know I’ll have fun documenting it, at least.
